What to wear!

Golf BallMake sure that you wear the right clothes for golf. Wearing your beach gear is not allowed!

Golf BallRemember to tuck your shirt into your shorts or trousers

Golf BallYou can’t wear your flip flops or crocs while you play

Golf BallAlways wear socks with your golf shoes or tackies

Golf BallRemember to take your cap/hat off when you go into the clubhouse - the sun doesn’t shine inside the clubhouse!


Mind your manners!

Golf BallDon’t talk or move while someone is taking a practice swing or is about to play

Golf BallMake sure that you are ready to hit the ball when it’s your turn to play

Golf BallHelp you’re friends look for their ball if it is lost, it saves a lot of time

Golf BallYou don’t need to talk on your cell phone. You’re playing with your friends anyway so who would you want to talk to ?

Golf BallNever throw your clubs or damage the course if you are angry - it is a waste of energy


Golf BallKeep you bag or cart close to you, it saves you going back to pick it up all the time

Golf BallWhen you take the flag out of the hole avoid throwing it down on the green

Golf BallPut your bag or cart on the side of the green closest to the next tee

Golf BallOnce you have finished on the green, move away quickly and fill out your score card while you wait for your turn on the next tee

Golf BallAlways walk quickly between your shots and keep up with the players in front of you. You’ll run out of time if you play too slowly

Golf BallWhen you are practising on the range – keep your spot nice and tidy
